Description: The company provides residential, commercial, and industrial building calculation, design, supervision, implementation, and maintenance services. The company also supplies the aforementioned services for water and sewage facilities, gas systems, and heating and refrigeration for telecommunications.

Description: The Construction Engineering Organization has introduced me as a supervising engineer in 41 construction projects with a total area of 3,180 square meters. I have also worked as an executive engineer for 15 residential and commercial buildings with a total area of 4,211 square meters.

Position: Surveyor

Location: Atlas Consulting Surveying Co. Rasht, Guilan, Iran

Description: I participated in the National project to determine the Anzali Lagoon limit for dredging. (Anzali Lagoon is located in the Caspian Sea, in the northern Iranian province of Guilan). In this project, a Cadastral Survey was done using the triangulation method to define the Lagoon’s boundary.

Position: The expert of Department of Civil Engineering and concrete laboratory.

Description: I joined a research group at an environmental research institute that investigated research projects to address urban environmental problems (e.g., landfill and the stability of retaining walls) and civil infrastructures (e.g., health monitoring of bridges, retrofitting of monuments, and maintenance of roads). I worked in the Concrete Testing Laboratory and the Department of Civil Engineering. I designed and provided structural drawings, estimating, and as-built drawings. Also, in parallel to my responsibility in the department, I fulfilled the need for civil engineering data for the Data Coordinator in urban environmental projects for other departments, such as the Department of Water Sources Monitoring and Department of Areas Studies.

Position: Assistant Supervisor Engineer (Resident Engineer)

Description: I was a member of consulting engineers’ group at the construction site. I learned the details of the execution process of Steel Structures according to construction drawings, Project Management, Estimating, Procurement, Costing, and providing as-built drawings.

Description of Project:

This project was located in Rasht, Guilan, Iran. The area of the project was 1983.73 square meters, and the total area of the building was 7393.14 square meters.

“The Analysis of Truss using ABAQUS software” (Summer, 2017)

“Static and Spectral Dynamic Analysis of RC building with ETABS software” (Summer, 2010)

Course: RC Structures Project

Supervisor: Dr. Behzad Ajeli, Department of Civil Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Bandar Anzali Branch, Guilan, Iran

Description: A five-story RC building was modeled and compared under static and spectral dynamic analysis by ETABS software. In addition, all of the executive details of the building were achieved using ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD software.

“Static and Spectral Dynamic Analysis of Steel building using ETABS software” (Winter, 2010)

Course: Steel Structures project

Description: A six-story steel structure was modeled under static analysis and spectral dynamic analysis using ETABS software. The result of the two methods was compared, and all of the executive details of the building were obtained using ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD software.

Design experience

The general information on the structure was as follows:

  • A four-story RC building with residential use (located in Guilan province) with a moment frame system and medium ductility in both directions was designed.
  • The Strip foundation system with a thickness of 60 cm.
  • The roof system of the building is a solid slab with a height of at least 30 cm, designed based on different uses.
